Who is responsible

Information processed in the app

The app processes medication names, amounts, routes, injection sites, dates, injection plans, weight measurements, symptom check-ins, free-form memos, notes, and optional height and target weight that you enter. Preferences and optional account identity are also stored locally. These records support your history, progress displays, and model estimates.

Optional Apple Health access

With your permission, VialWise reads weight from Apple Health. Height and menstrual-flow access are optional and requested for their relevant features. Readable values may be copied into local app storage to show measurements and optional cycle context. The app does not write measurements to Apple Health.

Health information is not used for advertising, marketing, or profiling and is not shared with ad networks. Manage access in Apple Health’s app permissions. Revoking access stops future reads; it does not remove copies already imported into VialWise.

Storage, retention and deletion

Tracking records remain in local application storage until you edit or delete them. VialWise retains one confirmed starting weight immediately before the first taken dose and measurements from treatment onward; earlier pre-treatment measurements are removed from the app’s active history. Changes to imported measurements affect the VialWise copy, not the Apple Health original.

Use History to edit or delete records and Settings to clear tracking records. Optional Apple sign-in can be disconnected in Settings. There is no developer-hosted tracking database or account to delete. Uninstalling the app can remove its local records.

No cloud sync or restore service is provided. The tracking-record directory is excluded from iCloud device backup. Preferences and Apple-managed account information may be handled by the operating system separately.

Exports and services you choose

You can export a JSON copy of tracking records to a destination you choose. Exported files contain personal information; the selected storage or sharing service handles them under its own terms. VialWise has no import/restore flow in this release.

Optional Sign in with Apple uses Apple’s authentication service and stores returned identity locally. It does not sync or back up tracking records. Apple processes authentication under its own privacy policy.

Support messages

If you email support, your email provider and ours process your email address and message. We use that correspondence to respond and resolve issues and retain it as needed for support and related obligations. Please avoid sending health records or prescription photos. You may ask us to delete support correspondence, subject to any required retention.

This public website

Cloudflare hosts these public pages and processes connection information such as IP addresses and technical request data to deliver and protect the site. We have not added analytics scripts, ad trackers, forms or nonessential cookies. Cloudflare may process operational data under its privacy policy. Visiting these pages does not give the website access to your app records.

Features not offered in this release

No purchases or prescription scanning are offered by this release. If data practices change, we will update this policy and request permissions where required.

Your choices and changes to this policy

You can use core manual tracking without Apple Health or Apple sign-in. You can manage permissions, delete local records and export a copy through the app. For requests about information sent to support, contact us using the address above. The effective date identifies the current policy; material changes will be reflected here and in the app where appropriate.
